As long as you polish silver, brass or copper you can not ever get the b lack off. The cloth will always look black when you use it. The tarnish will come off but the cloth will still be black. My daughter came to me one evening in tears years ago. She had been cleaning her horses halter and she was so upset. Said she could not get all the black off the brass. Bless her heart she was so upset. I could hardly keep from laughing.
Where can the small, throw-a-way polishing cloths like the one in this video be purchased?
Mona, the cloth you are referring to is one of the Sunshine polishing cloths WS sells. Because in its full size it can be difficult to manage into small areas, we often use pinking shears to cut them into smaller pieces (or just tear them). You can use a Sunshine cloth repeatedly until the entire cloth is black, and then just throw it away, no matter what size you prefer to work with.
