Wire can also be stored well in those tall plastic chest of drawers that you buy in Office Max.. they have skinny drawers and are just right for the plastic pkgs of wire. I have a chest for gold and one for silver. (they each have 6 drawers and stack) I have in the past tried the other methods and I use the accordian file for travel but in the studio I like this because the wire lays flat. and no flippin through the ‘accordian’ to find my choice. I also mark my plastic bags with gold and silver sticky stars so I can spot the gold and silver…. It is easy to just pull a drawer and set it in the work area if I have the space. I also use the more sturdy plastic holders from Office Max, they are clear plastic envelopes – same size but much heavier then the plastic bags.
