Hello, I been looking everywhere for the video that has a tool that make the holes in a gemstone a little bigger without breaking it. It’s been a problem for me with a lot of gemstones. The wire is just a hair too big. Thank you.

For holes too fragile or too small even for a reamer I use a #0 or #1 jewelers saw blade as a tool, being very careful to not bend or break it. Actually, I usually use a piece of broken blade kept for this purpose.Turn the piece as you move it up and down.

That is a good tip Mildred and thanks so much for sharing it with us. We all encounter beads that are too small for our wire to fit through and worry about shattering them when enlarging the hole.
It is a good idea to keep a small dish of water to keep bead lubricated and free reamer of debris that can dull the tool.
