Dress up a kidney wire earring using this technique. You can use round or flat half hard wire for making the earrings. Embellish with seed beads, crystals, pearls or any other bead that fits onto the wire.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut 3" of wire and shape around the Wubbers oval mandrel.

Step 2
Using your flat nose pliers, bend one wire out, away from the middle of the earring 90 degrees.

Step 3
Place the round nose in the crease and bend towards the other wire.

Step 4
Use the round nose pliers to bend again 90 degrees. This creates the loop to slide a focal onto.

Step 5
Bend the short piece of wire around the long wire with the flat nose pliers.

Step 6
Slide on 3 pearls.

Gently flare out the long wire using your fingers.

Step 8
Trim the long edge wire and use a wire rounder on the end to eliminate any sharp edges.

Step 9

Step 10
Slip the headpin onto the kidney ear wire loop. Repeat for 2nd earring.
