Instructions
Step 1
Take a 16 inches (40 cm) long wire of the 18ga (1 mm) wire. Position the center of this base wire behind the ring mandrel or wooden dowel, behind the ring size you wish to make. Here I used a mandrel.

Step 2
Now we have to wrap both wire ends 3 times around the mandrel (or dowel), so we make 6 wraps to show, facing you, and 5 wraps on the back of the mandrel (or dowel).

Step 3
Remove the wire from the ring mandrel (or dowel), then take the wire end on the lower side and bend it upwards over the coils, as shown in this picture.

Now bend the same wire end downwards behind the horizontal wires, as shown here.

Step 5
Again, bend the wire end upwards over the horizontal wires. Leave a 0.4 cm long end on this wire, cut off the extra end of it.

Step 6
Bend this short wire end completely backwards, then pressure it with the chain nose pliers to close it completely.

Turn the ring upside down and repeat exactly the same steps with the other wire end as well, as shown here and on the next picture.

This is the result we must get. This will be the back of our ring.

Position the wrapped wire ends on the back so the we have 5 wires on the front. Separate them between each other, as shown on this picture.

This is the result we must get from the left side view of the ring band.

Cut a 16 inch (40 cm) long coiling wire of the 26ga (0.4 mm) wire. Position the initial end of this coiling wire behind the center base wire on the left side, close to the point where we wrapped the base wire end around the horizontal wires.

Coil the wire around this central base wire all the way to the other side of the ring. At this point cut off the extra wire end then squeeze in the end with the chain nose pliers until it is completely snug behind the base wire.

Step 13
We have to cut another coiling wire of the 26ga (0.4 mm) wire, with the same length as the first one (16 inches / 40 cm). Position the initial end of this wire behind the lower base wire on the left side, close to the point where we wrapped the base wire end around the horizontal wires.

Coil the wire around the lower base wire until you arrive at the center of the ring on the front.

Add a 4mm bead to this coiling wire, positioning this bead between the lower and the next base wire, as shown on this picture.

Step 16
Continue to coil the wire around this lower base wire until you arrive close to the wrapped base wire end on the other side of the ring. At this point cut off the extra weaving wire end and squeeze it with the chain nose pliers until it is completely snug behind the base wire.

Step 17
Turn the ring upside down. Cut another coiling wire of the 26ga (0.4 mm) wire with the same length (16 inches/ 40 cm) then repeat exactly the same coilng and beading steps as we did on the other side of the ring (see this and the next picture).
