These little pumpkin pendants are perfect for Autumnal seasonal jewelry, Halloween and Thanksgiving. You can use either square or round wire, oval or round cabochons. You can even add leaf shape beads or add stone chips to create the leaf detail to the wire pumpkin vines. (I recommend using Malachite or Peridot stone chips or something green in color to create this effect)

Cut four 9.5" 20g wires. Attach your 0.4mm/26 gauge weaving wire to one length of the 0.8mm/20 gauge base wire, by wrapping three times, securing this approximately 10cm in from the end of the base wire.

Attach the second base wire above, by wrapping the weaving wire three times over both wires to join them together.

Bring the weave back down, by bringing the 0.4mm/ 26 gauge weaving wire below the top wire (between base wires three and four) and wrap three times around wires one, two and three.

Using flush cutters, trim off the excess weaving wire at both ends and tuck in the tail ends to the base wires using your pliers.

To twist the wire, hold your weave in palace with fingers or nylon coated pliers and use your pliers to twist the wire upwards from the weave. (you can twist these wires before starting your weave and attaching the base wires together if you prefer) .

Do the same with the next wire (third base wire attached) so that this sits outside of the wires you have just shaped. This will create the ribbing on the pumpkin skin that gives it its distinctive sections.
