This necklace was inspired by a sunset on Grand Lake, Oklahoma. I chose 5 different wire colors matching the color pallet but you could use less if desired. I also created the resin focal to match. These links would make a great chain with or without a focal, it's up to you!

Instructions
Step 1
The size of your swirl links can vary depending on what length you cut the 20 gauge wire pieces. Here is an image of 3 different lengths. 12" 8" and 6" (I used 6" lengths of wire for this project).

Step 2
I used 5 different colored wires that coordinated with my focal piece. I created 21 spiral links total. Cut a 6" piece of wire and bend at the middle using nylon jaw pliers.

Step 3
Curl up the tip until you start forming a spiral.

Step 4
Keep spiraling the wire until you cannot go any further.

Step 5
Using the Wubbers pliers, form a loop across from each other at both ends.

Step 6
Using your hammer and block, pound the spiral links to work harden the wire. Hammer gently so you don't mar the color on the wire. Alternatively, you can use a nylon or rubber mallet. Those won't flatten the wire.

Step 7
Connect one link to another using 2 jump rings.

Step 8
Connect the focal piece to both necklace end links using 2 jump rings. You can also leave off the focal piece and just create a spiral linked chain.
I made my necklace long enough to fit over my head so I don't need to attach a clasp.
