Inspired by this magnificent image of The Wave located in the Coyote Buttes North area of the Utah Arizona border, I knew the color pallet would be a delight to work with.
This project is really fun and using the same technique, you can easily attach multiple beads to make a necklace or bracelet.

Instructions
Step 1
At any time, if you need to straighten the wire, use the nylon jaw pliers and run the wire though jaws keeping the pliers tightly clamped.

Cut a piece of wire 9" long and place a bead in the center of the wire. Make a simple loop right above the bead making sure the bead stays in the middle of the wire. Repeat these steps to begin your second earring.

Step 2
Make a simple loop on the other side of the bead and wrap the wire around the base a couple of times. This is the start of your bead cap.

Step 3
Grasp the loop with the bent-nose or chain-nose pliers, and slowly coil the wire around the top of the bead creating a bead cap.

Step 4
Keep coiling and leave a 2" tail.

Step 5
Starting at the end of the wire tail, make a tiny loop and tightly coil the wire in the opposite direction from the first, in toward the top of the bead.

Step 6
Gently push the coil against the bead using your finger so it's touching the bead, molded to the round shape.

Step 7
Repeat on the other side of the bead.

Step 8
Cut a 2" piece of wire and coil up the end of it. Make a slight bend at the neck so the wire is going straight up at the end of the coil. Slide on a seed bead, crystal and seed bead.

Step 9
Make a simple loop at the top of these dangles and add to the bottom bead loop.

Step 10
Add an ear wire to the top of the bead loop.
