Craft Wire Contest Winners!

We’ve held contests in the past that focus on very specific things, like Snowflakes and Druzies BUT this contest was to show off your CREATIVITY using craft wire!

From all of here at Wire-Sculpture, we would like to thank everyone who submitted projects. They were all very creative and we had a difficult time deciding who would win, but here are the most creative and beautiful of the craft wire creations submitted!

And the winners are…

1st Place Winner entitled Wire Bonsai Oak Tree

Created by: Ronald Hollar

This is an original design made from 24 gauge round Amber & Green enameled wire and Super Sculpey Clay.

Tree is 3.5 x 2.5 tall

2nd Place Winner entitled: Big Blue 1965 Corvette

Created by: Barbara Swaggerty

The corvette was made from 20 & 22 gauge Round Silver Plated Pacific Blue, Black and Silver Copper Craft Wire.

Receiving:
DVD Series of Choice

3rd Place Winner entitled Wrapped in Elegance

Created by: Linda Taylor-Ricci

The pendant was was created with 22 gauge round copper base wire and woven with 28 gauge copper base metal craft wire around a 15mm white agate flat-bead.

It was finised off with copper and amethyst beads on the bottom.

    I never reply to anything but these projects are absolutely amazing. I am stunned by how beautiful and creative these are. i expected to only see jewelry projects. these are wonderful

    I really like the look of the 3rd place winner’s entry. Any chance she would be willing to share how she went about making it? Congrats to all the entries too. The amount of talent here is mind boggling!

    I too love the wire wrapped pendant — a skill I hope to do justice to before my hands & eyes let me down. (Groan)
