Pearl and Black Onyx Necklace

One way to create bead and wire necklaces is to make a series of beaded wire segments, adding from 1 to 3 inches of chain between them. This example has been finished with a favorite toggle clasp.

Chain Drop Earrings

For quick and attractive earring designs, attach some unusual chain segments to a pair of ready-made ear wires and add a headpin charm, or not!  The results can be stunning, (and sell well too).

Finished Ribbon

A great alternative to a chain is to simply ‘finish’ a ribbon!  In this example an 18-inch length of organza ribbon was looped at each end.

A lobster claw clasp with an attached jump ring was threaded onto one loop and a large jump ring with a one-inch chain segment onto the other end.

Using 20g half-round, half-hard wire, the ends were then wrapped onto the main ribbons’ length.

A sparkling, headpin charm was attached to the end of the chain segment, giving the final touch.

What a nice way to present pendants for that special occasion such as a wedding or a prom!

Bent Wire Earrings

What a cool idea!  Create them by using 21g round, half-hard wire, (in your choice of length from 3 to 4-inches, or even longer); use round-nose pliers to make a loop in one end and then bend the wire slightly off-center.

Add a headpin drop to the loop and file the opposite end smooth.  Simple, easy and very contemporary!
