Instructions
Step 1
Pour out a pile of seed beads onto a bead board or mat. Working directly from the wire spool using the tip as a needle, string 22" of beads onto the wire. Kink the end of the wire so the beads don't fall off.
Pro Tip: It's better to have too many beads strung than not enough so string more than you think you'll need.

Step 2
Leaving 3" tail, slide 2" of beads up toward the tail and twist wire around 3x. Slide the excess beads towards the spool to keep them out of the way.

Step 3
Repeat Step #2 until you have 7 petals. Cut the wire leaving a 10" tail.

Step 4
Move both wires to the back and twist to secure them. Cut the shorter wire excess.
*Don't worry about the final shaping of the petals at this point, you'll do it later in Step # 10.

Step 5
Bring the longer wire to the front of the flower and slide on a pearl. Cross the wire directly across the front of the flower and through to the back.

Step 6
Bring the wire up to the front again.

Step 7
Load color #2 beads (about 2") onto the wire and wrap it around the pearl overlapping a bit.

Step 8
Remove excess beads if necessary and move the wire through to the back.

Step 9
Wrap wire around the petal base a few times securing and hiding the wire.

Step 10
Trim wire excess and smoosh back wires so there are no sharp edges.

Step 11
Holding the center of the flower, carefully adjust the petals to your liking and attach ear wire.
* Use commercial ear wires or learn to make your own here. I used size 6 pearls and magenta wire.
